Surya Vista Orchestra & Surya Vocalia were founded on January 23, 2000, by conductor and show director Paulus Surya in Semarang, Indonesia. Built on a passion for delivering beautiful and meaningful performances, both ensembles were created to elevate every event through world-class music, combining orchestral richness with powerful vocal artistry.
Over the years, Surya Vista Orchestra & Surya Vocalia have grown from a nationally respected ensemble into an internationally recognized performance group. We have proudly represented Indonesia in 13 countries — including China, South Korea, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mongolia, Russia, Belgium, France, Monaco, and Greece — as well as in countless cities across Indonesia. Our performances are known for their elegance, emotional depth, and cultural richness.
Our repertoire spans from ethnic Indonesian music to a wide range of international compositions, allowing us to adapt to any stage and audience.
